Double Initiation 27th September 2019
Lodge News
On Friday 27th September at Cole Court, we initiated two new Entered Apprentices into Freemasonry. Nicolai Webber is the 18-year-old son of the IPM of the Lodge and his father proudly initiated him into the Craft as a Lewis under the Universities Scheme, in the presence of his cousin, W. Bro. Andy Bell PAGDC; Nicolai is studying Land Management in Oxford. Also initiated was Bro. Karl Sherlock, who is an ICT & e-Learning Manager from Mortlake, SW14. Both initiates join Sutton Court at an exciting time for the Lodge as we seek to become more dynamic. Although many of our members live many miles away, a Lodge of Instruction is being re-established in the Lodge, we have a White-Table Burns Celebration in January and our first Ladies Festival for six-years at Eastbourne in April.
Installation, June 2019
The installation meeting at Sutton Court Lodge, No. 7826 on Friday June 28th this year saw the return to the Chair of King Solomon of the ever-popular Paul Tredgett PPrGReg LGR LGCR, one of the country’s leading Toastmasters and regular thespian at Hampton Court, where he plays King Henry VIII with an uncanny authenticity.
